"AFTERLIFE" (Paul Perry) 2013
SURVIVAL QUOTATION GEMS & Notes:
"The Super-psi hypothesis can leap all obstacles in a single bound. Yet if minds can do these amazing things, then perhaps mind is made of a thing beyond the physical body? Once we begin exploring the idea of Super-psi, we end up standing on the same ground of reasoning which supports the Afterlife Hypothesis. Mightn't Occam's Razor provided the needed insight at this point?" [from 'Don't Worry, there Probably is an Afterlife!']
"At any rate, its true that the various lines of survival evidence point, in different ways,
to the same conclusion: that we, or some essential, purposeful and distinct chunk
of our personal psychology, can survive physical death. And it's true that,
taken together, they point more strongly toward that conclusion
than they do separately." [Braude, Immortal Remains]
If NDE was a purely physical phenomenon, then all people/more people would experience them mechanically and report them. Only about 15% do.
"In my thinking there are seven sticks in the survivalist bundle:
apparitions, mediumship, poltergeist activity, PK, possession, reincarnation and
deathbed visions. Taken together with NDE phenomenon, the case for survival
is almost unbreakable." [Prof. Stafford Betty, 2006, UCLA]
In the microtubules, the Wave Function is being collapsed by the presence of
"Proto-Consciousness" existing at the level of the Zero Point Field.
[Hammeroff/Penrose]
Evolution is driven by mutation.
To understand a phenomenon, we have to look to anomaly and rare exception.
YOUR THOUGHTS... are in 'Perceptual Space,' not Physical Space.
ZPF = The Realm of Space-time Geometry.
BACKWARD TIME EFFECTS have been confirmed.
Brain electric stimulation accounting for OBE is false.
Cortical Stimulation only produces distortions of body perception.
[Stuart Hammeroff]
PENFIELD noticed that his "stimulation subjects" always recognized
that it was "something being done TO them," not something real THEY were doing.
He saw this as consciousness supporting the 'Ghost in the Machine' concept.
"To experience thinking outside the brain,
is to enter a world of instantaneous connections."
[Proof of Heaven]
PLATO's Realm-of-Form
PENROSE'S "Ready-made Realm of Solutions."
LASZLO'S Akashic Field
THE FIELD = A Massive Hard Drive.
The "Atmosphere" can hold/store impressions.
Leys, ghosts, hauntings, psychometry, resonance phenomenon.
TREMENDOUS CONSISTENCY of NDE Testimony.
THE BRAIN as a 'Reduction Valve Mechanism.'
The brain as a "Field Filter."
THE BRAIN as a "Field Transmitter."
[Sheldrake]
Neuroscience to date only points to CORRELATION between brain & mind.
And correlation is very distinct from Causation.
"Neuroscientists and psychologists need to examine current models of mind
in light of NDEs & related PSI phenomenon, to arrive at an understanding
of consciousness and its relation to the brain."
[Adam Crabtree]
"The evidence taken together provides very a interesting case that has
to be answered. This elementary point, often overlooked, is that evidence taken collectively is stronger because each kind of evidence increases the
antecedent probability of a survivalist interpretation of the others."
[David R. Griffin]
DNA...
...links the physical to the Quantum Realm, via. microtubules.
The holographic nature of memory indicates that...
...the Brain creates (by neuronal growth ordering) links to information
stored extra-cerebrally. The links only 'store' basic event information.
The Weizemann Institute, 10-14-1995:
"We found that certain circuits in the brain work on the same principle
as an FM radio," says Dr. Ahissar. The brain appears to be tuned to its own
'radio stations.' Sensory cortical areas of the brain contain cells that oscillate
at regular frequencies due to mechanisms that do not rely on external stimuli.
If the extra-cerebral consciousness model is correct,
shouldn't there be some core qualities which resist brain stimulation,
correlation & ablation?
"Only when we expand models of mind tp accomodate extraordinary experiences,
will we progress in our understanding of consciousness and
its relation to the brain." [Dr. Bruce Greyson, 2011]
"Death simply does not exist.
People think it does, simply because they identify themselves with their body.
But consciousness exists outside the constraints of space & time.
Consciousness can be anywhere, which Quantum Physics calls 'superposition.' In the Multiverse, a dead person ends up in a similar world to that which he once inhabited, but this time alive... the body absorbing consciousness which migrated into this 'new' universe. The 'core-soul' is simply information stored at the quantum level.
After death, consciousness 'drains' somewhere else.
Information can never be destroyed."
[Lanza/Hameroff]
The key question eventually becomes: why should the NDE experience exist at all?
If we are but biological systems, why not evolve the simplest end-of-life scenario,
and merely "switch off?" Why the show? Does it fulfill any evolutionary advantage? Occam's Razor suggests that the NDE, by nature of its very existence,
implies continuation.
* Although NDEs are clearly an organized, self-contained system, most main-stream scientists explain them away as simply the result of neurochemical hallucination.
* Even "hallucinations," however, require a functioning brain,
as does the mechanism to create & retain memories.
* In the time leading up to, including, and following a cardiac arrest, brain function is either severely impaired or absent in any essential sense.
* In virtually all cases, unconscious NDErs should not be able to recall any memories whatsoever, even if some vestigial brain 'glimmers' remain active. Such glimmers would simply not be sufficient at any point, to enable memory retention or the rich sensory experience associated with NDEs.
* All science to date, indicates that a certain degree of Neuronal Coherence (also called Gamma Synchrony) is required for consciousness to exist, or memories to be formed or retained. Such neuronal-synchrony is totally lacking in unconscious, cardio patients. The point then becomes not whether there is any brain activity whatsoever, but whether there is the sufficient 'Global Neural Workspace' deemed necessary for conscious memory to exist. Furthermore, it is a matter of long-established medical fact, that there is no such synchronous condition at all following cardiac arrest.

In microtubules, the wave function is being collapsed by the presence of
proto-consciousness existing at the ZPF level... the realm of
space-time geometry, which is nonlocal.
Your thoughts occur in Perceptual Space... not physical space.
Memory patterns are imprinted upon the fabric of the ZPF by will, intent & emotion. Mechanical, cyclic ghost impressions left after a violent death,
support this mechanism-idea.
