The key question eventually becomes: why should the PAST LIFE experience exist at all? If we are but biological systems, why not evolve the simplest end-of-life scenario, and merely "switch off?" Why the show? Does it fulfill any evolutionary advantage? Occam's Razor suggests that the NDE, by nature of its very existence, implies continuation.
* The Integrity of the phenomenon * Why should the NDE exist at all? * Occam's Razor dictates a simpler evolutionary solution: WHY NOT JUST SWITCH OFF? Why the light show? Why always dead relatives... superior beings... unconditional love... * What evolutionary advantage does the experience confer? * This question becomes even harder to address in the light of Evolution theory.
